  • Time-of-use tariffs increase the efficiency of Hyper 2000 and Ace 1500

BERLIN, 6. September 2024 /PRNewswire/ – Zendurea fast-growing EnergyTech company, has presented its new Berlin A partnership with the German green energy provider Rabot Charge has been announced. As part of the partnership, Zendure will integrate Rabot Charge's real-time sales prices into its app, thus enabling the Time of Use (TOU) for Zendure's Hyper 2000 and Ace 1500 energy storage solutions.

Partnership brings dynamic tariffs for the Zendure app

The German greentech company Rabot Charge offers a dynamic green electricity tariff that is ideal for smart charging of electric vehicles. The partnership between Zendure and Rabot Charge is based on simplifying the use of dynamic electricity tariffs and maximizing cost savings with Zendure's energy solutions. To this end, in addition to the already integrated day-ahead wholesale prices from North Pool Now Rabot Charge's real-time retail prices are also integrated into the Zendure app. As a special offer, Zendure users can try the Rabot Charge service free of charge for six months.

“Our partnership with Zendure is an important step towards wider acceptance and use of dynamic electricity tariffs,” said Julian PattonPartner Management at Rabot Charge. “By combining our expertise in dynamic pricing with Zendure’s innovative energy technologies, we enable consumers to manage their energy consumption more intelligently and cost-effectively.”

Cost efficiency during peak and off-peak times

By integrating the electricity tariffs of North Pool and Rabot Charge, Zendure's Hyper 2000 and Ace 1500 are the first plug-in solar systems that can access multiple TOU platforms and take advantage of smart charging and discharging tariffs. Using Smart Pricing mode and a smart electricity meter or smart socket, the Hyper 2000 or Ace 1500's AB1000S/AB2000S batteries can be automatically charged during off-peak times with low electricity tariffs and later discharged during peak times.

Users benefit from this automatic charging and discharging optimization, gain more control over their usage behavior, and can automatically operate energy-intensive devices at times when electricity costs are low. The smart tariff modes and integrated TOU automation reduce homeowners' energy costs and maximize costs.

In addition to the individual depth, the integrated dynamic tariff platforms help reduce emissions and promote sustainable energy use. The optimized charging and discharging cycles reduce electricity demand at peak times and thus relieve the burden on the public grid infrastructure. With renewable energies, energy can be consumed cost-effectively and sustainably even in times of high demand.

“We are excited to serve our users through our partnerships with Rabot Charge and.” North Pool offer the full benefits of time-of-use tariffs,” says Bryan LiuManaging Director by Zendure“With our Hyper 2000 and Ace 1500, the first plug-in solar systems to have access to multiple dynamic rate platforms, we are creating seamless TOU automation. This will enable our customers to significantly reduce their energy costs and fully exploit the potential of renewable energy.”
