CoD Black Ops 6: Multiplayer Open Beta started today

The multiplayer beta of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is entering its second round. After an early access phase last week, the open beta phase has now started. This weekend, all PlayStation, Xbox and PC players can also get a taste of the shooter's multiplayer mode.

The most important information for the Black Ops 6 Open Beta

  • Start: Friday, 06 September 2024 at 18:00 German time
  • End: Monday, 09 September 2024 at 18:00 German
  • System: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC

Who can participate in the beta? Unlike last weekend, when only those who pre-ordered the game and anyone with a Game Pass Ultimate subscription were able to play the Black Ops 6 beta, everyone can now play – regardless of their pre-order status.

How much storage space you need for the beta depends on whether you have already installed certain CoD content or not. You can find an overview of all sizes here.

Is there a preload? Yes. It was already activated on August 28th – for the Early Access Beta – and can be used normally now.

New content will be added in the Open Beta

Numerous modes were already available in the Early Access Beta, and the Open Beta now adds a few more features:

  • New core map: Babylon (in addition to Derelict, Scud, Skyline, Rewind)
  • New Strike Map: Stakeout (in addition to Pit, Gala)
  • New modes: Kill Order and Firefight

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be released on October 25, 2024 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC. On Xbox consoles, the shooter will be available in Game Pass directly at launch, and some parts of the game will also be available earlier via Early Access.
