When is Quidditch Champions coming to Switch?

When Warner Bros., Portkey Games and Unbroken Studios told us more about Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, there was always talk of a version for Nintendo Switch.

The sports game has now been released, but only for PlayStation, Xbox and PC. What about the Switch?

The Switch version of Quidditch Champions is coming, but it's taking a while

Since September 3, 2024, we can finally play the magical broom sport that was not included in Hogwarts Legacy in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. However, we still have to wait for the Switch, as the title is currently only available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS, Steam and Epic Games.

However, the Nintendo Switch is still advertised as a platform, for example on the official website.

When will Quidditch Champions be released for the Nintendo Switch? Even after the game's release on the other systems, the official FAQ still states that it will be playable on the Switch at launch. At the same time, however, it also states that the version for the Nintendo console will not be released until the “Holiday Season 2024” – i.e. the pre-Christmas period.

There is currently no exact release datebut unless there is another delay, we should expect the Quidditch game on the Switch in November or December – or with a bit of luck, October.

Online shops, meanwhile, do not provide any indication of a more precise release. Amazon, for example, has so far only given a placeholder date of December 31, 2024.
