Bolivia hosts Venezuela in a World Cup qualifier on Thursday and will be looking to use its considerable home advantage to pick up three important points.

The Green has moved its home qualifiers to El Alto, which is an incredible 13,615 feet above sea level. That's even higher than the team's usual home venue, La Paz, which is 11,940 feet above sea level.

Bolivia have one win and five losses in World Cup qualifying so far and know they must now win at home to have a realistic chance of qualifying for the 2026 event.

Oscar Villegas will make his debut as Bolivia's national coach, replacing Antonio Carlos Zago, who was sacked in July after The Green has lost all three games of the Copa América.

Venezuela, on the other hand, started the qualification with nine points from six games, is surprisingly in fourth place and is aiming for its first World Cup.

La Vinotinto reached the quarter-finals of the Copa América, winning all three group stage games before losing to Canada on penalties.
